Finished installing a Midland 101LWX CB with weather scan installed it inside the console. Used a Firestik side mount and a 4ft Firefly antenna. Got SWR TO 1.5 on 1 and 40. Now just disappointed, no one to talk to. Catch an occasional trucker but amazed how little traffic is on the radio.

Smittybuilt clasic rock rails with step ( for the wife)
Very impressed, no fit meant issues and the packaging was outstanding.

Default Smitty Bilt Rocker Guards

I bought a pair of Smitty Bilt Rocker Guards for Morris 4x4 for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sport. They arrived today and I was very disappointed. The drives side was a little tight when installing it over the body mount bolts. The passengers side would not even come close to fitting. I took the part off and layed them on the garage floor next to each other. The problem became very apparent! The passengers side rocker guard measured 1/2 inch narrower (front to rear mount). If the rocker guards were symmetrical they would have fit perfectly.

So, I called Morris, who called Smitty Bilt to discuss this problem. Smitty Bilt suggested reaming out the part or jacking up my jeep, to produce a frame twist, and make the part fit.

Would anyone here spend over $300 to rework a product to fit on their jeep?? Needless to say, I am very disappointed with Smitty Bilt and their products.

I will check out EVO to see what they have to offer. I was thinking along the line of welding my own at work. They have the tools available and I can get what I want.

Not a bad idea!

Cheers

They just don't care, I remember when I had my front rampage bumper shipped from 4 wheel parts. The whole bottom of the box was getting ready to rip out of it. The d-ring holes were sticking out of the box it even had forklift tire marks on the box lol. The bumper was dinged up as well! To spend 400+ on something like that and have it treated like that after waiting for it to come to my house! I sent that damn thing back
