Today I wrenched on a friends Jeep. I had some 18/59 JKUR takeoffs and they needed a home. She had a 2010 JK 2-door Sport that needed some recently purchased rock rails installed. We used the swap as an opportunity for some inspection and explanation of 4x4 parts and function, problem areas, etc. In the end it was a very productive day, an easy swap, with an easy rock rail install, and in the end she ended up with about 1.5" of additional lift. I was surprised at how much lift in fact, and didn't realize it until we parked side-by-side at lunch after a parts run (in want of a hose clamp as I was not happy with how easily the rear axle vent hose pulled off).
