Swapped out my Bilsteins for some adjustable Ranchos. Much softer on-road ride with them set at 4. Hoping to test them off-road this weekend.

Managed to fold,, then break my tie rod on an obstacle at Hungry Valley! The next one will be 1 1/2"x.250 wall.
I think the bend(forced by the hydro assist) was mostly due to some sketchy spotting and direction.,, but thankfully the guy camped next to us was a certified welder and was able to patch me up for more,,, less aggressive , wheeling and the drive home!

What tie rod was this? Do yourself a favor and go with 1.75"x.375 tube atleast. 1.5" .25 wall still bends pretty easily.

I think 1.75 x .375 might be a bit overkill. It isn't a rock bouncing ultra 4 car. The .250 should be good for my driving style. Especially since the 1 3/4 x .125 lasted almost 2 years of rock crawling.

Welcome to the club! I moved from DuPont last year and will be back in 2 years, lot more trails and ORV parks in WA compared to HI! Your jeep is looking great, can't wait to see some pics after you hit the PNW trails!

thanks yeah the wheelin has always been really really fun in WA. but the fish tacos in HI.....omg can't beat em especially up NE on Oahu.

yeah I'm still waitin to get the first dent over with...she's just a mall crawler for now haha but it's only a matter of time. lookin to hit up naches sometime soon hopefully. next step is to get some stickers on the back, I think it softens the blow when you get your first dent or something like that :p
