Quick question before I do this, this week

I want to put a 2.5" lift (to replace my 1.75") on my JKU who already have 33" tires (Toyo Open Country AT2).

Can someone who have that set up, tell me the space in inches between the rear tires and bottom of fenders (in line with the center cap of the wheel) and also between the front tires and the bottom of fenders (in line with the center cap of the wheel)?

Thanks

*if the measures are from a stock jeep...even better

Here are the measurements I took this morning. Running 285/75/17's on a 2012 JKU so basically a 34" tire. Front was 7 3/4" and rear was 7 1/2" to bottom of fender. Running a RK 2.5" stock mod lift. Hope this helps.

I forgot to mention in the "show your 33's" thread. I'm now running BFG T/A KO2's size 285/70r/17. They stock Goodyears measured 32.1" installed and these guys didn't give me much diameter at all. They measure 32.7 installed. Not quite a 33" tire. So it didn't add much to my height measurement. Click image for larger version

Finally got around to installing a PIAA dual Bass horn in my 2012 JKU. It took me awhile to figure out the best locations.

I removed the existing horn by washer fluid, reused the bracket, installed one in same location.

I tapped into existing wiring and ran wire on the right of compartment. I mounted under my Spod using existing nut and bracket.
