Top and doors finally came off for today (live in MA) but gave a much needed wash and wax, full interior clean, she was MAD grimy !!!!

plan of hitting my fenders and bumpers (stock ones) with duplicolor next week pretty faded and scuffed up.

 

Got up to 70 degrees here in Columbus, Ohio; gave her a much need bath & some wax today

 

How much for a set of those doors for a 4 door?

 

Added 4dr HD Rubi coils to the front of my 2dr X. This gave me 1+ in. in the front over my sagging X springs. The winch and heavy bumper had them weighted down. My Jeep actually brakes better now.

 

I'v beem on a tight budget, so today was electrical day. Marker light mod and LED footwell lights. I need to find room inside the armrest and a good place in the cargo area for a 12v plug .
Tomorrow I'm stuffing pipe insulation into the dash board black hole of doom.
Gotta love the cheap mods!

 

Put on some new Cragar Soft 8s 17x9 w/5" BS this week. Hope in 2 wks from now I'll have my custom welded beadlocks done on these.

 

Installed ProComp 7189 wheels
Put on some 285/70R17E tires
JKS adj. front and reat track bars
And installed the OME 2" with HD Springs in prepartion for a Moab trip next week!

 

It cost me about $80 to make them.There is a thread in the Write Up section on it called "We made some tube doors" check it out.But it does take awhile to make them with bending, welding, grinding and painting but it is worth it.
