JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Installed Dynamat throughout the interior. I've never done this before, as I always doubted the effectiveness and it's not cheap. Now I'm a believer. Between the A/T tires, the headliners on the hardtop, and the Dynamat, I actually have a fairly quiet highway ride.

Do you get wind noise with the rack? I'm planning on this being my summer kayak rack and it'll go back into storage for the winter.
karls10jk,
yes there is a little wind noise, Id maybe call it buffering than calling it noise but yes its there even though its subtle. It starts at about 30mph. Its not bad or loud or annoying but it is noticeable if you know what to listen for.

Installed Rock Slide Engineering half doors
Pretty simple to build and a little bit of time to adjust the stops. Of course I had to have them painted to match Max.

Ok, over the last few weeks, lots of stuff.....
  • 5 year lifetime warranty inspection.
  • New (rebuilt by Jeep) transmission.
  • New clutch (Mopar).
  • Replaced oil pan gasket.
  • Replaced failed Rancho RS5000x shock.

Next up will be allignment. I'm thinking about either a new set of KO2's or KM2's. I've loved the KM2, but may be ready for a little softer, quieter ride and better snow traction. The KM2's have been beasts off road, though.

Installed my Uniden 520xl pro cb.

Relocated and lengthened my diff breather tubes.

Fluidfilmed the underside including inside the frame rails. Will do another coating in a couple weeks. I really hate the roads in Cleveland during the winter with all the salt they use.

Aside from taking the wife to Taco Tuesday today....I bought a brand new ARB CKMA12 and EVO mounting bracket from a forum member. Siked to finally be able to air up where ever and whenever.
