JK Show & TellWhether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.
With 181,xxx miles on it. Some much needed love. Got a new Radiator, water pump/gasket, timing cover gasket, crank seal, PCV valve, Valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets, Transmission lines. Today it is getting TPS sensors installed and tires re-balanced. Also have an appointment pending parts arrival for the airbag recalls.
My wife got a magnetic phone mount for her car, and I really like it. Looking into the available options, though, I couldn't find anything that quite fit my wants for the Jeep... so I built my own. It's kind of a rough draft, and I had to cut a hole in my phone mount to get it to work the way I want, but so far it seems to be extremely functional. I'll probably pull it off and paint it and remount more elegantly one of these days so it doesn't look quite so stupid...
Currently in getting the 3.73's replaced with 4.56's. Been living with the 3.73's running 33's and steel bumpers. But after adding the winch, cage, tire carrier, RTT and gear.... With all the added weight, it's time.
Bought stock 2016 Sahara unlimited 2 weeks ago. This week put 6” lift, 22” Fuel Assaults w/37” tires, Bushwacker Flat flares, light bar, new nerf bars, Fab Fours Grumper grille and crash bar cover. In a couple weeks will put new rear bumper and tire carrier then start on new stereo. These things have the worse stereo I’ve ever heard!
Installed my Quadratech flashlight mount Works like a treat so far! Little concerned about it being bolted to some relatively flimsy plastic trim, but will see how it holds up.
Installed a Bluetooth receiver for the stock stereo so I can listen to music more easily
It's spliced into the dash's 12v outlet so it turns on/off with the key and mounted just inches from where my phone sits on its mount
Just a nice flat 90 degree aux cable is the only evidence that something is up. Works great with the Bluetooth receiver so far.
Installed some Rugged Ridge hard-mount grab handles
Really wish I'd added these sooner; they make getting in and out a lot easier.
