Had four 2 doors, got a 4 door, eventually after the kids...back to a 2 door. IMO a true JEEP has 2 doors. Until the kids are grown... I got a JEEP with 4 doors. A nice compramise!

 

A "true" jeep has no doors.

I have a 4dr and had zero problems getting through what the other 2doors could do....some of them got stuck or had problems climbing things.....zero problems for me....until a rock sliced my sidewall!

I know many people say that the 2-doors are more capable but the 4-door is waaaaaaay more capable than my skill-level so the extra space is appreciated.

 

I love my 4 door. Great on and off road, plus I can carry stuff with me.

 

I wish Jeep would've named the 4-door something other than a 'Wrangler' since I'm tired of people saying it's a 'fake'. Fake Wrangler? Good, I was never a fan of the 'real' 2-door Wranglers since they offered no real use to me as a daily driver, but I LOVE the fully capable, 4-door convertible. Please call it something else since I don't want anyone to confuse it with the small, cheap, and disproportionate looking Wrangler.

 

Got the 4D for the versatility...I can go all the same places, but can carry a hell of alot more equip/people and has a better on-road manner as a daily driver because of the LWB.

 

A 4 door Wrangler is like a 4 door 350Z. It just ain't right...
