I got the 2 door, but i'm only 19 and dont have a family to take around.....when/if that time comes I would defiently go with the 4 dr, but for now the 2dr is just right...i think they look better, and the swb comes in handy on the trails. Both are great tho, I wouldnt pass up on either!

To me, the 4 door just really didn't look right.
The cargo room and ease of access to the rear seats is nice, I just don't have the real NEED for that extra room.

2-dr. don't need a back seat (it is in my basement though i did pull it out one time when I had to watch my nephews for a weekend). plenty of cargo room with no seat. love the agility of the 2 dr. the looks of the 4-dr have grown on me, but when i got mine in nov '06, i had only seen one 4 dr in person at the time and it didn't look like a jeep to me.

4 door. Two doors don't look right and they carry as much as a Miata.

I wish I could trade mine in and start again but I already got too good a deal on mine (another story, another day) but my wife will be needing a vehicle soon so we're definitely going to do a 4-dr Rubi and I'll keep my 2-dr Rubi as the extreme machine....or sell mine, get hers and buy me a C6 Z06 .....

I like the 2dr, that was you don't have to take passenger.

The 20-Something year old, fun-loving, Jeep purist, kid in me wants the 2-Door.

The 40 year old, working 50 hour weeks, road-warrior, father with 2 kids wanted the 4-door.

With that being said, I ended up with a 4-door, Jeep green, Rubi. However, my eyes are constantly wandering toward every 2-door that passes. It's like a Jeep mid-life crisis and I'm constantly looking for a younger woman.

Luckily I have an '84 CJ-7 Renegade parked in the garage.

I think the the unlimited extra space is a bit overstated, Every time I look at 2drs parked next to the unlimited ( when I am at a dealership), I really don't find the unlimited much bigger.IMO

have a seat in the back of a 2 door. get out, then have a seat in the back of a four door and look behind you and see all the empty storage space. biigg difference

2 door forever! Somewhat impracticle, however a jeep is like a sports car, a pure toy. Yes the 4 dr helps bridge the gap, but impracticle fun is what it's all about! Buying the unlimited is like buying a 4 dr sports car, still fun, but not the same. Cheers.
