Thank you very much. I forgot about the darn break-in period. Guess I shouldn't open-it up on the way home. Sigh...

I wonder which one of you guys is going to get the last 2012 to roll off the line? It would be fun to find out.

I diligently followed the manual-directed break-in directions myself. Finally sitting at the 470 mile mark so I can begin to drive it mostly as I please.

I'm sitting at about 1200 to 1300 miles after 18 days of ownership... LOL So its about the same average... 67 to 70 miles a day.

Well, at very least you'll chirp the tires on your way out. Apparently you can't help it, having gotten used to the hamsters on the wheel under our current hoods... Congrats, can't wait to hear all about it... Looks like AR did his break-in period in a couple of days, that's my kind of driving right there!!

Got some great news for you guys like me waiting on our late model 2012s.... WE GOT THE NEW ALPINE SYSTEMS!!!

Look at your window stickers. If its a rubicon like mine, look under the standard features and it might say Alpine Premium Audio System. Just checked my dealers inventory and they have a black 2012 Rubi in transit and I checked its window sticker, and there it was. I wonder if we will get some more of the 2013 features too???

I called Jeep customer service today and was told thdy are no longer allowed to give out information on Canadian orders. Nice. I didn't get a call from the dealer today but I drove by the dealership after work and they had just unloaded it. So when I get time I'll pick it up.

We intentionally drove it all over the place to log miles because I need to tow on it shortly. It'll get plenty of garage time now to make up for it.

I'll often drop the top during he summer and just take the other car if the weather might be bad. Wife and I work in the same area, so we can condense cars as needed.

Right now my 2012 JKUR is still waiting to be scheduled for build. My dealers Factory Rep by phone and email told my dealer it should have a VIN next week and to expect is at the dealer some time about 15 July. Go figure right after my return trip from Mountains back to FL.

I was wondering if they ran out of 2012 parts would they swap on the 2013's parts coming out the window sticker seems to confirm at least the radio. I haven't hear anything about the 2013 radio is that a good thing or bad thing?

Wonder if I will be the last one to get a 2012.
