I just recieved my delivery date for my 2012 JKUR, Auto, Black Forest Green, Dark saddle and black interior, 3.73 gears and a 430N, Hard Top. Should pick it up around 7 July!

 

When did you order?

 

thedrod - Order date was the 16th of April. I ordered it from the military exchange new car sales program in Kuwait. Im currently deployed to Afghanistan and dont get back untill sometime in June. The program orders it directly from Chrysler. Allegedly the delivery date is guaranteed, but we'll see.

 

Another day of nothing... dealer doesn't seem to like to call me back either. I wonder if they think they have the sale in the bag so they don't bother trying to find out anything. Maybe I'll get it just in time for the rainy, cloudy weekend. Whooo do I sound negative.

 

Well...picked up the wires new Grand Cherokee today. I don't get how a car with alot more bells and whistles can get here so much quicker then a basic Rubi. This is going to make the wait even harder listening to her gloat about her new car...:gap:

Hi guys,

I picked up my 2Dr Deep Cherry Red Rubicon from the dealership yesterday. It's beautiful. I love the stick shift and the navigation + Uconnect is sweet, better than my BMW's.

I will post pics later on today.

In the meanwhile, I was told by the dealer that the roll bar grop handles come with the Jeep and they will be in the box that contains the windows for the soft top. (I ordered dual top). When I came home and opened the box, they were not there.

I also noticed two empty plastic bags in the glove compartment. One of them says KEEP IN VEHICLE FOR CUSTOMER USE. The barcode scanner numbers are M02160522A4. Did anyone else got this bag with your Jeep and can you tell me what it contained?

Also, I need to get side bars installed. Any recommendations to buy the standard non -tubular ones that come with Jeep?
