all of your order dates are so close to mine!!! That means mine is happening soon! I think all i keep posting is how hard this wait is. Just finished pulling the rest of the little odds and ends off my JKU, plus UPS just dropped off my Rigid D2's and my ORO license plate relocate kit!!!

Holy longest month of my life!! It's only been 2 weeks... well not really officially two weeks even and I'm so darn impatient!! I've waited 16 years to get a Jeep and I suppose I can wait another month!!

I called IAM Jeep and logged into VOTS (for the first time today) and both have said that I am due for production and the Jeep has been approved!

Like I've been saying I'm antsy in my pantsy to get my jeep!! At least it's going to be here just in time for summer!!!

Ordered Flame Red 6 speed Manual transmission (all my friends are banging their hands against their heads because some of them can't drive stick!! HA HA SUCKERS I don't want people driving it other than me and my husband anyways!) hard top, unlimited, Rubicon, slush mats, Max Tow pkg. We'll buy a soft top later just to enjoy the full experience of a jeep later on in the summer!!

 

Finally I have something to say. New Rubi Mall Crawler went from D1 to shipped on the 12th! Now i'm at the mercy of the shipping folks. the wait is killing me but i'm sure it will be worth it, i hope !

 

Well...just got off the phone with my best friend that works at the dealership. He's the used sales manager but can still get me any info that i need. I had a sales person for poops and laughs so someone could get the commission...turns out he quit today so that would explain why no call had been returned. Anywho...

Wifes Grand Cherokee will be arriving tomorrow...my Rubi is sitting at the train yard an hour away. It was supposed to be loaded up and on its way but due to all the bad weather/hail that north Texas got recently everything has been pushed back a week to check all the vehicles over before delivery to dealerships. SOOOOO...now my official delivery date is the 24th. BLEH! Can I just go pick it up and save them the trouble!

Oh well...At least all my stuff is off the JKU and ready and waiting. Knowing now will make this the hardest week out of them all!

 

~after 3mos of waiting, dealership informed me that my JKUR arrived and is currently in a "pre delivery inspection" I will be picking her up on Wednesday early morning !!!!!!

 

Congrats! By the way, there was a side pic of your 2008 in the 'show your black wheels' thread somewhere with your ProComp 7069 or 8069s. That was - and still is - my fav setup. It's what all my JKs have dreamed of being.

What color did you snag this go around?

 

I chose the complete opposite of my old JKU. This time I went with WHITE....Thanks....

 

For those of you that got the grab handles, did you get 2 or 4? I looked at mine when I got home from picking it up and there were only 2 grab handles and 2 clothes hooks. Need to know if I need to call the dealer and give them a hard time.

 

Mine came with 4 grab handles, 2 clothes hooks. I have grab handles up front and in rear - mine is a JKU Rubicon for reference (in case it's different with different packages for anyone reading this).

 

My JKUR came with 4 grab handles and 2 clothes hooks (I think, I used my old ones). Worth a call to the dealership to see if you can get the other set.
