Just bumped mine up to D1 status and got a ship date of 11-28-11.

Waiting on my dealership to call me back, but Insight has the following:

It's been in Built/Pending Inspection (I) since 11/09/2011. I'm hoping to have it on the 21st, but I have 0 faith in the ETAs, as apparently inspection is taking multiple weeks - which I find doubtful (or at least hope isn't true, because something must have been majorly wrong if it is!)

I think insight and VOT's is not working. Insight is saying for mine:

The only downside to ordering a vehicle is you can't pick through existing inventory sitting on dealer lots....

The upsides:
1. Ordering direct through the Fleet Manager - invoice price.
2. Made to your exact specs - driveline, color and options.
3. Production line knows its a sold unit - more attention to detail.
4. Window sticker has "especially built for you ...." printed on it.
5. Upon delivery, you can specify dealer prep - no drilling holes for front plate.


I always order through a Fleet Manager....

All it says for me is "VIN not found". When I check the website VOTS it says it is in shipment. Any ideas?

Not really. There was talk that Chysler was going to shut down Insight for non-dealerships, perhaps that's impacting you looking up your status? Also, double check your VIN, my dealership had sent me an incorrect VIN the first time, I called Chrysler and they straightened it out. I wouldn't bother, knowing what I know now about how unreliable/inaccurate both Insight/VOTS are.

i would like to say RIP to the most reliable, up to date and flawless system ever invented. i don't know how i will be able to go on without it. i'll miss you, Insight.
