It would be great if you could see into the Jeep plant with a live video feed.
Best thing is to wait for the emails and call Jeep customer service in between. I didn't really call CS that much until after the 3rd email. However CS gave me my VIN when i called a week before the second email was received.

Ok so I placed my order April 2nd at the dealer. They told me, it probably wouldn't be until July that I saw my Jeep.
On April 5th, the VON they gave me started registering on the vots site.
I sat patiently.....it stayed at D1 for the whole time from the 5th until now.
Finally I called IAMJEEP yesterday, gave them the von, and they said it was estimated to ship April 25...... what?
How accurate are they? Obviously they are more accurate than VOTS because vots doesn't do crap apparently.

I ordered mine on March 31st. Got first email April 13th. Second one on April 16. Called Jeep last sat. Told me estimated rail car load on may 4th and load on truck for delivery on the 11th. So hoping to have by memorial day if I'm lucky.

02/16/2012 - put my factory order at dealer's office(BC, Canada)
02/28/2012 - got my VON number
03/01/2012 - (today)Dealer just emailed me that my Jeep got a Vin#
BTW, Got a question here:
Does the "Monotone Paint" mean that the fenders and tops have the same color of the body?
I picked Black Forest Green, and assummed the fenders and tops are all black - I prefer to have contrast color(in black) on these parts.
But, on my priced order confirmation paper I see there is the "Monotone Paint" listed - see the attached imageAttachment 283941

Hope the link works (scroll through pics as I only posted a single link). Been 5 weeks, and I have the wiring for all the aux stuff, shrockworks rails, and diff covers left, but hope everyone is as pleased as I am with their new Jeep when it arrives. Stay patient if still waiting. Is worth the wait, as painful as it may be.

MortuaR, that is NOT the Trektop NX. It is not the Trektop at all. It is a different brand of soft top similar in style to the trektop NX. Can't really elaborate further here. Sorry.
