When did you order?

 

Ordered 12/27. Confirmation email 1/19. 2nd e-mail 2/16. Expecting the shipping email tomorrow.

 

I'm in the same boat. I have an estimated ship date of tomorrow (ordered 1/6 or 7). I checked vots this morning (I'm traveling in Europe this week so it was very early) and only got production scheduled. I called this afternoon (lunchtime US) and was told it was in Paint. Just checked vots and it has miraculously caught up as well. Looking like I'll make my ship date as well, which means it should be waiting for me when I return from Europe on Monday! I'm only about a 2,5 hour drive from the factory.

Waiting to be installed:
430n I picked up off Craigslist (or the 730n I picked up off here)...not decided yet
Brand new soft top from Craigslist I picked up for <$500...well, I'll install that in the spring.

Soon to buy and install:
AEV 2.5" lift (or maybe the Teraflex one)
35" BFG Km2's with spidertax spacers

 

I ordered my 12 wrangler unlimited Sahara, 6 spd, 730 nav, limited slip rear, max tow, 3:73 axle ratio, heated seats, dual top group, on Monday January 30th and picked it up last night!!! About 4 weeks from order to delivery!!

Ordered our JKUR on 2/8. received the first e-mail on 2/14 for production scheduled. Has been stuck in this status since. Talked with dealer today about the Tread Lightly discount and was able to get a better deal. Dealer told me he ordered two JKUR winter chills the same day and the other one is scheduled for shipment on 3/5. Exact same jeeps other than transmissions. Explain that one.

02/28/2012 - got my VON number
03/01/2012 - (today)Dealer just emailed me that my Jeep got a Vin#


BTW, Got a question here:

Does the "Monotone Paint" mean that the fenders and tops have the same color of the body?
I picked Black Forest Green, and assummed the fenders and tops are all black - I prefer to have contrast color(in black) on these parts.
But, on my priced order confirmation paper I see there is the "Monotone Paint" listed - see the attached image

 

You are good mike. The monotone paint is standard. You'll have the black fenders and hardtop. The matching fenders or top would show as a separate option if you were to get them.

 

This is driving me crazy. I ordered on Feb 11th as did Timh, yet Jeep tells me it is still just scheduled for production. I'll be glad when it hits the line. It's tough having to share a vehicle with my wife.

 

I feel your pain - ordered 01/16 and didn't hear anything until very recently (just hit D1 a few days ago) and won't be at dealership until 03/21 (per their estimate, shipping 03/14). Hoovis had a much longer wait though... I think the norm is you'll get it sometime within 3 months. If you get it in 4-6 weeks you're super lucky... 2 months is common... 3 months is pushing it but not unheard of. Mine should be just about a week over 2 months from order to delivery.

The thing I don't understand is a guy ordered a Rubi the same week I did... but he ordered auto. His already arrived 2 weeks ago. I think the JKU Rubicon with 6spd manual trans was hanging my order (along with Hoovis and a few others) up. Not sure why honestly. Hopefully it was something worthy like a small issue they noticed that needed to be corrected. If it was just 'not enough manual transmissions to push them out'... what is with all the auto trans orders anyway!? Haha... jk.
