Default 2nd Email

I just received my 2nd email from Order Tracking. It says that my JEEP is scheduled for production. Does this mean that I should see my Rubi in about 4 weeks?

Hopefully she passes inspection and gets shipped out soon! TNAP is only an hour away from me, but it will probably take a week to get to the dealer...
Pup, if you are only an hour from TNAP it shouldn't take long to ship to you. As long as your close enough, they will just put it on a truck and take it to the dealer. The long shipping waits are due to rail shipping that people further from the factory have to deal with. My dealer was in Iowa about 7 hours from the factory and it took around 12 hrs from the time it left the factory to the dealers lot. I was pretty amazed at how quick the shipping process was. Hopefully you see it soon

That's what I'm hoping, but the dealer told me otherwise. He said the Jeeps ship by rail to SHAP (Sterling Heights Assembly Plant) for redistribution, then they're delivered on a carrier to the dealership that's a few miles away. He said that the time at SHAP varies from anywhere between a day and a week. Hopefully they're wrong though!

Not necessarily. My Jeep shows production scheduled and I never received a second email.

I agree. We got our second email 4 weeks ago and it still show "scheduled for production". According to the dealer it is still 3 to 4 weeks away from been delivered to them.

cajunaviator - that 2nd email means that you've hit D1 status... if you haven't received it (or heard otherwise) and the site shows production scheduled, you're likely just in 'D' status.

What I'm seeing throughout this thread is once you hit D1 status the Jeep is at the dealer within 2-5 weeks. For instance, I hit D1 status Feb 27th and my Jeep is 'scheduled' to be shipped March 12-14 and should arrive at the dealership on or around March 21st. Once you get that 2nd email or hit D1 status you should be able to call Jeep and get those estimates.

Quick note - your dealer should have access to the same systems... and the people that work with you on the 1877 number are super awesome to deal with. Every time I call they tell me, "don't hesitate to give us a call any time, we'll give you as much information as we have."

I wish I would get that second email. If I get to 6 weeks from order date and I'm still in D status, I will have my dealer start looking for an alternative vehicle.

Hope I have better luck. When I ordered my 2007, I waited over 2 1/2 months and it still wasn't scheduled. Ended up finding one and driving to Minnesota to get it...

Also ordered EVO Enforcer 4" lift from Northridge4x4!
Just got first email...

Received 2nd e-mail today showing Production Scheduled. Called Jeep and they say my new JKUR winter chill is scheduled for shipment 3/22. If thats correct then it should be about 8 weeks form order to delivery. According to Jeep when I spoke with them this morning it sounds like JKUR's with winter chill were on hold for a mass production and the final run for that color.
