2012 Wrangler information thread
LOL, it's probably a system-wide issue and not you.
I compulsively checked that website for like one month...if they had any type of web analytics I'm curious how many visits I had to that site. I was checking at home, at work, on my phone...I think everyone waiting for their jeep does this

Just heard back from the dealer. They can order. (They must not have ordered any yet). However, they are trying to find pricing. I'm going in this afternoon to see if they even have pricing. The only reason I will discuss with them is that the next nearest dealer is 45 miles away. Will go that route if I need to.
Think I've been officially banned from Insight for checking status too often
Can no longer get to my status after 11 days of compulsively checking JS status.

I've come to the realization that most car dealers are only really intrested in selling you a car off of the lot. The best salesmen have a calendar on their desk with reminders to call people back and usually have a line at their desk. There are probably very few of these guys involved in Jeep sales. Everyone else is just waiting for Best Buy to start hiring again.
Drove one of the 2012s last night when I dropped my 08 off for the recalls I have been slacking at doing. It drove really nice. I forgot how quiet a stock Jeep is it was kinda nice but really weird getting into something so low. Still wish there was more power but the shift points are really nice in the auto and the Automatic popped over to manual would be really nice on the hills. I didnt realize they did the triptonic shifter for the automatic.

Sigh.
My Rubi Unlimited built on the 25th shows in JS status but one built the NEXT DAY is already in plant release with a delv date of 8/1.
I know that being only built 4 days ago leaves me little room to gripe about my situation but how the heck does a somewhat identical one built later leave Toledo sooner??
Oh the strife!!!
