Great to see some of you already ordered the Pentastar/6 spd combo. That should be a pretty strong combo esp in the 2 door.

That was my only complaint when I drove the Grand Cherokee (and a loaner minivan the dealer stuck me with one time), waiting for the transmission to downshift. Damn the computers, I will decide what gear I need to be in! I kept thinking what a great engine the Pentastar will be with a manual, at the same time fearing Jeep might go cheap and not bother engineering a manual transmission matched to it. I'm glad they are still offering it and I can't wait to drive one and then buy one, or maybe buy one then drive one, depending on how long it takes before I can order one in Dozer.

To bad you guys will not see photo's of the new V6 in the 2012 JK as the link has been removed. You'll have to wait now. We all know and have photos down under. The JK CIA is after me.

Ok, I figured out why there is some confusion regarding the S package on the Sport:

The Sport S package does not include the power convenience group.

The Sport Unlimited S package INCLUDES the power convenience group.
