I love my 2012. Got the Natural Green Sport Unlimited. Driven 2 wks... 700miles already. I waited two years for this engine.... well worth the wait. I'm getting 18mpg on avg. I've had 25mpg highway doing 65mph in 6th. I was impressed with the freedom top. It hasnt stop raining in PA for the last month or so.... not a drip!

They just happen to have it on order already. There is one at another dealer about 150 miles away, and thats what I was originally asking him about, and then he said they had one coming in a week or so. Some options I didnt want, like (nav, painted top & flares and both tops, leather seats) but all the ones I did (auto, hardtop, airbags, 4.10, heated seats, tan, rubicon).

it was the comment about the clown colors that pushed me away from crush.

Does anyone know if the trailer tow group for $320 gives the slightly heavier duty rear springs when its ordered on a Rubicon?

I heard the same rumor from a local dealer. He said it showed in his computer that it would be available later in the year.

According to the package details, all it adds is a wiring harness and a hitch. That's it. Go to the "build your own" for the 2012s and you can see all the package details.

Finally got an update from my build sheet. Based on some feedback on the board, this is a long shot. Anyone have their Jeep actually come in early or right on time? If this thing comes in early or on time, I get to take it on my trip back home on the 21st. COME ON BABY!!!

I ordered my 2012 JKUR on 8/31/11 and I have a couple questions:
I have my vin and I put it into the link that I found on here. This is what my status is:
Does this mean that my jeep started to be built on 9/8? I called today and the lady I spoke with said that she couldn't give me any more information than the fact that it was scheduled for build and in D1 status... I was trying to see if it was painted or anything new...
Also, I heard a rumor that you can order black leather interior, but when I called my dealership to see if it was too late for me to change from black cloth to black leather, and the sales manager said that black leather was not an option... is he lying or is it possible that it's not in the system yet, or that it's just a rumor?
I also read somewhere in this thread that someone called their dealership when the jeep was at the rail yard and got their dealership to get it a few days early...anyone know anything about this? My local jeep club has a fall run on 10/8 and I was wanting to get everything ready and be able to take my new jeep...
