well seems that the tan JKU rubi I had my name on, that was already on order by my dealer, was on a transport truck when the truck caught on fire
. It is no longer.
He could see that a salvage place was trying to get one (or more) jks for parts, so he could see some were totaled. I even had the VIN.
The dealer found another, but it doesnt have side airbags. I really wanted those.
now I have 'til morning to decide.

My local dealership has finally recieved their shipment of 2012's. The only problem is that they don't have any JKU 6-speed Rubi's all autos except for 1 two door sport (which I did take on a test drive, very nice). For that matter they searched the entire state and found none (well none in natural green or dark cherry). But I was notified today by them that they were able to locate 3 in the color I wanted. 1 was in Las Vegas 1 was in Arizona and the other in Colorado. The problem is I am in Apple Valley, CA. I'm looking for natural green and I know it was mentioned that natural green was to be discontinued but its still being shown on the Jeep website under the 2012 build my own section. So I'm going to go down and probably order exactly what I want and they are going to see what they can do about the natural green. I dont really want to pay and extra $500 for the hauler or have a brand new rubi with 1000 Miles on it. Anyone else have this problem? I know they are brand new and stock is limited but you would think they would ship out a few more 6-speeds.

Sorry to hear your bad news. I am still trying to track my JK down (to be delivered around 8/26) which is supposed to be at Twin Oaks. Your jeep wasn't coming from their was it?

I don't know, they didnt know where it happened. I didnt order it, it just happen to be close to what I wanted and already ordered and enroute to the dealer. They got in another from NJ today, in tan but no side airbags. The leather was a bit much for me as well. drove well though. Someday.

Really thinking about trading my 2010 in for a 2012. Would appreciate honest opinions of those that are driving one. I am looking for a 2-door Rubicon automatic. How do you like the new motor and of course what isv the milage like? I drive a lot of highway miles, 70 per day... Thanks for any info!
