Just got done filling out paper work on mine, picking it up mon. The wait is finally over after almost two months of waiting(put order in on 9/15). Speaking of I actually haven't even drove the 2012's, I just went to dealership during my lunch break to order it... So the wait will really be worth it when I drive it home on Monday. It's a rubicon unlimited 6 speed white color. Kinda wish I had ordered the forest green after all but oh well, definitely got some plans for the white after seeing the sema pics!

I really hope this isn't giving me false hope because vots says its still in paint. Plus it doesn't make sense that all this could happen in one day. So either this is wrong or they behind on updating it. Insight also says dealer delivery eta is 11/08 at 4:00am! I'm hoping I get lucky and get it this week sometime!

Oh ya and what is ramp compare inventory?

 

FYI... I just spoke to a dealer in MA about an hour ago, they are expecting a JKU rubi in black forest green any day now. They said they got the stock number, "which usually means it will be here within the next couple days". This is a dealer order, not customer order, I heard the dealers are getting the BF green first, but good to hear they are close to hitting the lots. They are going to call me when it comes in.

I went to dealership and said I want one before Xmas and they told me I'd have to buy off the lot it was too late to place an order to have it by Xmas.

 

Just heard about 0% for 36 months on Jeeps picked up before the new year. Great incentive for those in line with an order.

 

I think the average time from order to dealer is more than a month if not more. i ordered 9/20 and est for delivery is 11/15. So unless you get very lucky on an order. I think i might agree with the dealer. But i am just shooting a thought out.

 

That's pretty close. It's all based on the dealers turn and earn system first. It's also different now than it was in August/September now dealers order for the next month of production back then it was 2 months out. sold orders are first priority, but it's a delicate balance. You have to imagine they can only build so many of each model a day. So sometimes it appears stock orders show up first, OK they actually do a lot of times, but sold orders only represent say 5-10% of their mix so there is always more dealer stock.

 

Finally after years off waiting for just the right Jeep I put my order in on Saturday and the Dealer says they may be able to get it to me around Thanksgiving. The dealer said he has friends he can call to bump the order up and his dealership is ranked 5th in the nation to give him priority. Also the dealer is in Ohio so it should take about an hour to deliver from the factory. Let's see what he can do. Sorry if I do bump anyone in line.

 

Hey guys, my dealer finally just got a order number(VON#) to me(ordered 10/26), is there a way I can start to track it???? from this or do I still need to wait for a VIN# ? thanks in advance for any help.

That's awesome! That must be nice being so close to the factory. I'm pretty sure if I had connections I would have done the same thing! Mine should come in tomorrow!
