Sorry to hear that. Are you just negotiating for the extra 1%? -1% below invoice is not too shabby...

An idea. Forget negotiating. Go in, make a refundable deposit, and come back with the TL discount. Make sure they take it before you order. Then you're guaranteed the -1%. Another 1% will be 3-400. Might be worth doing and trying the extra negotiation at the back in. You could walk away at take your deposit after the car arrives.

Forget calls. Walk into one. Get a sales manager.

Agree. Nothing worse than heartburn over a purchase (of course there is but you know what I mean ). That will dog you the entire time you own your Jeep. I tried to find the specific source reference to the 16th but could not find it. I'm usually pretty good about recalling details and am 99% sure i was told the 16th.

At my dealer that I've purchased my last 2 Jeeps with, I am dealing directly with the Sales Manager. He sure doesn't seem to be interested in getting my repeat business at this time.

I have the -1% Tread Lightly discount and since I couldn't get another 1% out of them, I've asked for a discount on accessories and free labor on swapping my RR bumpers - if I trade. So far no response except to confirm that is what I'm asking for.

If I don't hear back tomorrow, I think I will go to the dealership in person after work to place my order and leave deposit so they don't cost me my first choice in colors.

You would think that a 3rd time customer would get a little faster response to my offers than once a day. You think that I'm asking them for the moon or something.

That heartburn will cost them service business down the road I suspect. I'll drive out of my way to avoid a dealer that has angered me.

Agree. I didn't end up with an '11 because of a dealer, but now I'm happy they messed up.

Im in the process of trying to order a 2012 Sport...

I gave them the list of options, one of which was (GCD) Tinted windows/soft-top.

I just got off the phone with them, they told me the GCD code is only available in Sahara and Rubicons trim packages...

Can this be true?? You cant have a sport optioned out with the Tinted soft-top??

On places like Edmonds and USAA, I can build a 2011 with the (GCD) code... So is this an oversite by Jeep, or a ploy by my dealer to upsell me into a Sahara??

It is part of the S Package

SPORT S package
3.6L V6 24V VVT Engine
17X7.5 Aluminum Wheels
Chrome/Leather Wrapped Shift Knob
Deep Tint Sunscreen Windows
Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel
P255/75R17 OWL On/Off Road Tires
Power Convenience Group
Power Heated Mirrors
Power Locks
Pwr Windows, Front 1-Touch Down
Remote Keyless Entry
Security Alarm

To see those details (my dealer didn't know how to do it I had to show him) he needs to click on details or something like that on the screen where you pick manual vs auto , and s package vs not s package (same screen).
