Thx for the clarification.

I didnt want to go with the "S Package" since I plan on adding custom tires/wheels after taking delivery.. I didnt see a point in paying extra for the 17" wheels/tires when Im going to be putting customs on.

This is a bummer.. I was hoping it was just an oversite and that it wouldnt require me spending an additional $1200 on options I dont want, in order to get the tinted soft-top...

I had a Cosmo Blue 2010 Rubicon ordered for the wife last Friday , but called and cancled it this week so we can wait and see what the new color's look like. I am hoping to be able to actually see them on a Jeep before we order but that may not be possible if we want it in the next 6 month's, it seems they look alot different in person than on the paint chips. I also would like to see what's up with the COD package that is supposed to be coming down the line this fall.

I had no trouble canceling it and didnt have to give any kind of a deposit on it, I guess it just depends on the dealer you have and we have a Good one here.

If anyone see's any new info on the COD Rubicon please post it up, my dealer say's they have been keeping that stuff very quite untill it acutually is ready to release the last few years for some reason.

I wanted to have one of the first 2012's out there, but I guess I can wait a little while longer.

How close is the crush paint chip to the current mango tango for anyone that has seen it in person?

I too was told by my salesperson that the S model included the power package. When I build a 2011 on jeep's site it shows the power convenience group features as standard on the S model, also.

Groups and options seem to change every year. I am sure it is based on buyer feedback and sales numbers.

Awesome news that it's finally getting the Pentastar mated to the 5 speed. That's the combination that's in my 2011 Grand Cherokee and it's pretty sweet. Not a huge amount of pull at low RPMs but put the foot down a little and it takes off. And bear in mind the GC outweighs the Wrangler by ~1,000lbs, and the unlimited by around 700-800lbs. Hits a nice growly note too when you floor it a little, nothing buzzy or droning about it.

I think people are going to be very happy with the combination in the 2012's and beyond. I couldn't swing a Wrangler when my last lease was up in September, but when my next one is up I'm def going for a 2013. Adding the new V6 seals the deal.

Very curious to see the Pentastar hooked up to the 6 speed stick, I don't think that combo will be available anywhere else but on a Wrangler. Actually I was afraid they would only offer the auto. Has anyone ordered the 6 speed yet?
