I have owned a lot of jeeps, but never bought any new and never ordered a vehicle, I want my first brand new jeep to be exactly how i want it (minus a diesel and portals
)
btw, has everyone been doing the $500 deposit, or is that not required?

To be honest, i just didn't like the guys attitude. I may check out the fort mill dealership this weekend, they are a huge dealership, so if they havent order some to my liking, i will just order one myself.

Or if you can, negotiate 2% below invoice and multiply by .98. Keep in mind they can charge a $75 admin fee for processing the TL discount. It's right on the TL paperwork you receive.
1% below is the max you should pay not the lowest you can pay.
Just left my dealer, guy confirmed no option available to get the auto trans with 4.10. Called the rep and sent an email stating it needs the no charge upgrade to 4.10. Sales manager said it would come with 4.10's or they would add it upon delivery. Out the door price of 39850.20.
Also asked about the power convenience, my build sheet says remote start, he said rubicon unlimited's come standard with power windows and power door locks..... That's all I care to have...

To get the TL price add base invoice price and invoice price of all options and multiply by .99

I think so, but the pricing guide (message #1) lists 3.73 as a $50 option. Or...is the option for the 6-speed manual only (becasue it has 3.21 standard)?
New to this forum. It's great. Looking at a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited.
Does the Tread Lightly discount apply to just the base price of the vehicle, or to the total including all of the added options?
Thanks

Newbie here....
I have been looking to get in to the jeep world for some time now. I ran accross the Tread Lightly info here on the board. My wife isn't sold on it, she thinks there is a catch. Can anyone post some evidence I can show her that it is a real deal?
