2012 Wrangler information thread

There's absolutely no catch. Many of us here are using it and there is no argument or conflict at the dealer whatsoever. You get the paperwork from TL, bring it to dealer and you get the affiliate 1% below invoice price. As simple as it gets. Many have used it as a starting point for negotiations and have worked up to 2% below invoice due to dealer still making $$ thru hold-backs.
Just send an email to several dealers explaining that you have a TL discount and want to buy at 2% below invoice. Ive had several local dealers agree in writing via email.
The salesman is incorrect. The 2012 comes with 3.73 standard on the automatic. 4.10 gearing (optional, no charge) should be available but isn't due to a glitch in the ordering system
I spoke with a salesman today as well. He pulled the info up on the screen and said the Unlimited Rubicon comes with 4.10 (I was on the phone so I didn't actually see it). Is it possible the glitch was fixed?
On a related note: I received my affiliate number today! Now trying to find some time to head down and order it...that is of course, if this glitch is fixed.
