All the literature has the exact same dimensions for 11 and 12. Milous has said they would be the same as well. Everything will fit on a 12 that fits on an 11 is my guess.
The 3.6 IS a MINIVAN engine! It's nothing exclusive, that's for sure.
The 3.6 is also offered on the following models:
Chrysler 200 — 283 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Chrysler Town & Country — 283 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Dodge Avenger — 283 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Dodge Grand Caravan — 283 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Dodge Journey — 283 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Jeep® Grand Cherokee — 290 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Dodge Charger — 292 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Chrysler 300 — 292 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Ram Cargo Van — 283 hp/260 lb-ft of torque
Dodge Durango — 290 hp/260 lb-ft of torque

Loooong gone are the days when an auto manufacturer made an engine limited to one model or one application.
I believe it is delusional to have ever thought that the 3.6 Pentastar would be exclusive to Jeep.
It's an all around better, more performing, more efficient engine.
I'll take it !
I read an article that states, the 3.6 penta is a modular motor that has been in development for 4 years....the base motor is the same across the board and then power adders and tuning make it model specific! The fact that this is the planned viper motor and that Maserati is dropping the Ferrari motor, in favor of a 3.6 twin turbo pentastar for next years grand turismo, makes me think it cant be all bad !!

Hi
I am little bit upset, I have ordered a green Jeep Wrangler and for me Jeep is green and Jeep have been green in 70 Years? and now suddenly when I ordered a Jeep wrangler I can not get it in normal "Jeep green color".
The "Black Forest Green" looks almost like black in the PDF
And "gecko" is not for me a jeep green color.
One of the most popular colors seems to be "natural green pearl" a more dark green color so I do not understand why Jeep for the first time? after 70 years decided to drop dark green.
I wanted a new 4x4 as a naturephotographer and wanted to melt in the enviroment with a green color, now I have to decide if I should cancel the order or not.
I really like the Jk with Pentastar and need a new 4x4 and would like to have a more military look with military green flat color and dark rims, like many others here.
Jeep has forgoten its history
Decision...
