My D1 date was 6/24. Can I assume mine might be built on 7/21?
Mine was scheduled to build on 6/17 too but still no change in status.

Nope. They seem to D1 in batches. They did a bunch on 6/17 and then again on 6/24. Those are just the days on which they finished putting your vehicle in teh schedule. They bild by type it seems. Today they are only building 4 doors, no 2 doors rolling off the line on day 1 :(

Not acceptable if a lifetime warranty just means a lifetime of visits to a lethargic service department. Just sayin'

Default How can I order a 2012 JKU ?

I have talked to 3 dealers here in Indiana so far and they all give me the same dumb look and tell me 2012 can not be ordered yet , and then they want to know why I want a 2012 over a 2011. I explain the engine and I don't want to miss the boat for the sahara tan. I get frustrated and leave thinking I need to find a jeep dealer that knows something. AAAARRRGGGG!

Generally that's not true.

When I toured the KUKA body plant back in March, the plant manager specifically stated that the don't batch like that.

Something must be up with something specific to the 2 door.

I had a dealer tell me today that so far they've only built 4 Doors. Could be wrong. I'd believe the plant first. Good to know.

I'm sure it's possible to just put a hold on 2 doors but I'd be curious to see why in this case.
