Right now i'm at the dealership and talking to someone came up that the new 2012 engines (pentastar) will be very vulnerable to water, compared to the actual 3.8L
Can anyone confirm or deny this info? Thank you

Edit: when i say water i mean when submerged and stuff like that.

Does the dealer have anything to back this up or perhaps he would really like you to purchase one of those fine water resistanr 3.8l engines? Seems I saw quite a few posts on hydrolocked 3.8l engine..hmmm.

Can anyone recommend a Jeep dealer in NJ for ordering a 2012 w/TL discount?

I went to Buhler in Hazlet. They agreed to the -2% in writing. Ask for Kenny. He'll know about it.

i realize what chrysler says about the pentastar engine with the horespower and all,
what i really want to know is whats the real numbers on it. what will the numbers show on a dino?

for example, the current engine is no way close to 202HP, its more like 130HP.
so to say that is has 280HP or so tells me nothing. im quite sure the numbers are hyped up to sound good for the public
