KZ FTW!!!

 

Yeah my flame red rubi was released on the 25th and is now on a train making its way from OH to CA.. It is amazing how painfully slow a train seems to move... !! Of course now I need to decide if I was 35s or 37s and what lift to get.. Bank of America is going to love me this month with all my charges.

 

The worst part about train transport is rail dust, it's metallic and sticks to your paint, then rusts and adheres. It's very small annoying metal particles I had a bunch on my 2010 stone white JK when I picked it up. They look almost like a reddish orange. Small price to pay for a JK!!!!

 

Anything can do to get them off?

 

My guess: Wax & rub right away post delivery.

 

Add me to the list moving to KZ! 8/4 delivery est. Might have my JKUR by end of the week.

 

Some of my orange rusty rail dust is still on my JK 39k miles later, I blame me mostly! But I'll get to it!

 

Anyone get their ordered 012 yet? Deliveries starting to come in soon, right?

 

There's a thread on another forum about jeep where someone already has taken delivery of a '12. Lots of pictures and stuff.

 

It's probably been asked before, but does anyone have a feel for the time from entering D1 status until it gets on the train? The Customer Service person said the build is only 2-3 days.
