I talk too hookup at the dealer he told me the wrangler is following the diesel Cherokee. I can't wait !!!

Still not banking on it though. That is very far away, and the only thing I've heard is 'hints and rumors'. Until the Chrysler CEO says, "There WILL be a diesel option wrangler" I don't believe it.

They have been saying that for years...every year around this time the big talk is the diesel wrangler that never comes out...ill believe it when i see it

it could very well happen , i believe it will have liquid after treatment though which will enable it to meet emissions easily . the down side is youll need to fill a seperate aftertreatment tank after about every 3rd fill up with fuel . the shit is pricey and ill bet a stripped down diesel with a manual will run 30k

Every few months there is always someone that has that special "friend" that works at a Chrysler/Jeep dealer as a typical salesmen/service writer/manager that climbs to have some kind of inside connection to the Jeep design team, yet somehow still manage to work at a dealer many states away. I'll believe it when it comes from Jeep.
