Default 2dr or 4dr?

I am thinking of buying a jk but not to sure what model i want. I have a little girl and dont know if the 2 dr is going to be big enough. i was wondering how much difference mpg is for the 2dr vs 4dr. And how much room is there behind the back seat on the 2dr.(enough for a small stroller?) Also i will need to two a new seadoo boat.(2000 pounds roughly) thanks for the input!

for what you want, sounds like a 4 door would be better for you. I have a 2 year old and a car seat in my 2 door, and gets to be a pain getting him in and out when I have to do it. im also sure the 4 door has more leg room in back than the 2 door. Just my opinion

I have a 2dr but I think you would be a good candidate for the 4dr. You have a young family and the 4 door will just make more sense for you and the wife. Your wife could also ride in the back with the kid on longer trips. She will be very happy you got the 4 door. Keep Momma happy!!!!!My kids are grown and we have two 4dr cars when we need space.

I would vote 4dr. Did you ever try getting in the back of a 2dr

If I could do it over again! 4dr. that's only due to the fact that we are planning this up coming year to start the baby making... and a 2dr. has no room for road trips and kids.

Defintely a 4dr for your needs. I have a two door and got tired of the bitching from my friends tryinng to get in and out of the back...so I took the back seat out...no more bitching

Speaking from the 2dr experience here, you definitely want, strike that, need the 4dr.

Getting anything in/out of the back of the 2dr is a joke, unless the seat is removed and you access the space through the gate, which wouldn't suit your needs.

being a 2 dr owner, i recommend you go for a 4 dr. it is a PITA to get to the back seat of a 2dr.

I love my 4 door.

I love that I can take my wife, 3 friends and 2 Great Danes all at the same time and still have the top and doors off in the summer. Perfect!

I owned a 2dr YJ for 13 years, finished raising 2 kids in it. Rented a 4 dr on vacation- bought one shortly after- NO comparison. Love the 4 door! The kid's kids love it too...LOL
