Default 2wd jk?????

I don't have any plans on going 4 wheeling....so my question is...does the 2WD have some sort AWD system that will get you out of the sand when at the beach. Getting stuck in the sand in a jeep will be quite embarrasing *****The 2wd JK's are a lot cheaper*****

I am pretty sure it's just straight 2wd. Most threads that I have read here from owners of 2wd state that they regret buying the 2wd. Also, I suspect that the demand when trying to trade or sale later on would be low.

Now with that said, I have read threads from 2wd owners that love the choice they made, but I think that they would be the minority.

If you plan on doing any sort of off-roading, beach included, get a 4WD Jeep. When the inevitable addiction hits to go off the beaten path and then the MODS come, you'll be glad you went with the 4WD.

I know how my jeep is when its in 2wd in the rain... I highly doubt it will do very well anywhere if it does as bad as mine does in the rain... Lets just say I can do donuts...

No, the 2 wheel drive is simply that, a 2 wheel drive. No magical all wheel drive. To make matters worse, without a limited slip, its really a 1 wheel drive. My wifes saturn would likely fair better on the beach.

Besides all that.. the other Jeep drivers will just stand and stare trying to figure out why Jeep even makes a 2wd wrangler...

you will be responsible for people losing their jobs, being late for meetings, missing the birth of their child, etc...
