I was able to get mine (4dr X,4.10, automatic) for 1k below MSRP. Last day of the year and no financing needed. The salesman said that they were generally selling for MSRP. I did not have much bargaining power; as I was striking the deal others were wanting to take it test drive...

 

Well, since my dealership forget to order my Rubicon Unlimited 6 weeks later!!!

They had one come in rigged up with all the stuff, gave it to me at 1% under invoice. 30,100.00. i felt really happy they didnt call the police, the screamin deal was a bonus. the District manager was in the store at the time, i just didnt know it.

I would NOT recommend that approach

Couple of suggestions to new buyers:

Dont be in a hurry to buy.

Let them know you dont really need a jeep.

Be able to walk out telling them you are going to the competition.

Double and triple check their math

If you have a trade in you dont pay sales tax on the full price (Price of Jeep minus you trade in value equals the amount you pay taxes on).
