I wish I had checked my pinion angle after they did my lift install. They left the rear pointed down It ate up my rear driveshaft very fast. I did not go back there for next set of mods. (Drive shafts and gears) Nor will they work on my Jeep again. Something you should all think about with your lift installs.

Default Yet another gripe about Gibson dual

I have had the thing on for ~3 months. Looks good, I got used to the LOUD and forgot how much it lost torque when I put it on...

With the top up now the sound is resonating, so I put the stock back on. Damn peppy!

Anyone who was still considering it...

Rugged ridge mirror relocation brackets. This kit, which I bought from Quadratec, is completely broken and useless. Neither the bolts supplied with the kit nor the factory bolts thread into the plate used to seal up the door hole. Also, the cylinder on the bracket is too small for the mirror stub, so it doesn't fit in the hold, and neither the bolts supplied with the kit nor the factory bolts are long enough to hold the mirror in the bracket.

Rugged Ridge should be ashamed of themselves. Either they didn't bother to perform an ounce of quality control or fit check, or they did, realized the kit didn't work, and decided to screw their customers anyway.

OK - We have ONE post that a set of wheel spacers broke...and NOT ONE response to the multiple questions as to WHICH brand/size it was that broke.

So - WHAT BROKE!????

My regret is the OffRoad Logic roof rack. Expensive piece of crap. Didn't fit properly. Won't fit a soft top at all. Horrible company to do business with, the owner, Brett, will tell you anything you want to hear then won't deliver as promised.

K&N air filter.
No noticeable power gain and I've lost tank average MPG since. I will put the factory filter back in again to see if it lost MPG after the break-in period and was just coincidental to the K&N.

My mistakes:
-Gibson split-rear (loud obnoxious goofy crap, rust on the welds)
-MOPAR chrome grille (lapse in taste that was quickly removed)

Great thread!

Of all my upgrades I gotta got with the AIRAID stuff. I mean, I may of picked up 5HP or something but it's hardly worth the 200 bucks. I was never really impressed with any gains from it, if any. I was eager to upgrade something, so, I did. Now, I'm about to put the stock back on since I want a snorkel....so it was in, the end, a waste of money.
