Default Flares

Bought the Jeep from the dealer with Bushwacker Pocket Flares. Broke the flares within 24hrs of driving off the dealer lot on the first bit of flex on the trail. Those things were crap, scrapped them for the Xenon wide flat flares, should have bought the narrow because the rear sagged about 3 inches in the middle after a month in the Arizona summer heat. Have since trimmed front and rear Xenons down to the point where they are basically a scuff guard for the body sheet metal.

Sorry to hear about your Warrior issues. I purchased the rear deck center piece and the 3rd brake light. I received excellent service from Warrior when I called and asked where the parts were, but I had ordered through one of their dealers, who I won't mention either, as they never follow through with shipping info, and received my parts in two days. I do agree on the instructions as they are not very informative. Other than that, I have had no issues with them as a company.

They seem to be pretty good quality and fit great... but they position the light in your face so you cant seen whats coming from the right of left when you have 6" lights mounted. Spend a bit more and get MOPAR brackets or Smittybuilt brackets... or better yet, get a peice of steel and build your own, always get exactly what you want that way.
Was planning on buying these.....thanks !

Not impressed with the IPF "White" headlight bulbs for the IPF920H4 upgrade kit.

Default Yet ANOTHER Regret - Shorty Antenna Mod

So, this is my second post on this thread. I just did the "shorty antenna mod", and let me tell you - I'm not impressed. I wanted a shorter antenna because the factory one liked to tapdance on my KC windshield lights. That *tink*tink*tink*tink* gets old REAL quick! So, I got my new black 8" antenna from a link I saw in the Forum (shortyantennasource.com). NO complaints with the company in and of itself; it looks pretty sweet, and it solved my *tink* problem. The only bad thing is that when you cut your antenna in half, you can expect to cut your signal / reception in half as well. It works fairly well while I'm bombing around in town, but once I start to trek out into the boonies or up into mountainous / hilly terrain, it fades pretty bad, even though the longer, factory antenna still worked in said areas. Oh well... what can ya do?? I've seen where some guys will weave the factory antenna through their KC stone guard covers, but that doesn't work with mine, as I'm running the solid black smiley covers. If you're a big iPod user (like I am most of the time), then I guess it really doesn't matter.

Default Rugged Ridge

Well, I got a PM a few days ago saying Rugged Ridge wanted to put right their disintegrating fuel cover. Unfortunately, when they realised I was in the UK there was no further contact despite me sending a reply and then a reminder. Oh well. I guess their products ship worldwide and our dollars are as good as anyone's but it would seem that their customer service does not extend to us.

I give up. That fuel cover has cost me more hours than all my lights did and then some.
