Congrat on the yellow rubi, My 6 speed is awesome, i would never even consider a slush box in a jeep i think they only offer them to soccer moms and mall crawlers.

Don't be so negative. My YJ and TJ were manual, but I want the JK auto for waterproofness.

Maybe I need to visit the dealer.. only had this thing for a week
I had issues going from 1st to 2nd at first....
try not to pull the shifter so far to the left when going for 2nd, its not like straight down from 1-2, try more like 1-4 (only not so far), or (hard to explain) but just dont pull like a regular stick, you'll feel it... you'll get used to it and it will be normal to ya.
(just try it)

and i LOVE my 6spd...
NO WAY would i get an auto.

sure, its gonna be more work in the tricky stuff, thats the point.
in Lo range, you shouldnt be clutching much anyway, let the gears work for you and if it stalls, you dont need to clutch, just turn the key and be ready when it jumps a little at first, but its just for a half second, the low gears wont let it run off on you.

autos take the fun out of it.

Well my salesmen called and said my Yellow Rubi is at the dealership and being prep'd. I was planning on closing tomorrow but since I'm up now (work nights) I've been on the phone with the insurance & credit union. It's looking like I'll be able to pick her up today. I should have photos up here by Saturday.
