The Jeep is the best vehicle you could own in Northern Michigan - great in the winter, great on the trails, and top down in the summer running around TC or Petoskey is awesome. I grew up in Hart, went to Michigan Tech, and lived in TC for 5 years. I miss it a little bit every day. Try to get down to Silver Lake at least once, the dunes can be so much fun!
Hart is a great little town. My family is from Ludington (4th Ward) and if I could ever get a promotion to Hart I'd proably take it just to get back there. I went to MCC for a while and made several friends from the Whitehall, Montague, Rothbury, New Era, and Shelby areas. In the past I've also done a lot of two tracking around those areas as well. I imagine there are a lot of great wheeling areas in CO & AK. Have you ever made it to the Blessing of the Jeeps in Mesick? We were there in '06 & '07.

Never made blessing of the Jeeps, but I've done blessing of the bikes in Baldwin. Great time! Good luck with your Jeep, I'll be a little jealous this summer.

one of the reasons I hated my 07 Sahara is the Auto.
Know i'm waiting on the AEV manual Transmission kit for the Hemi swap!
although i'm not the best driver.... but i'm learning
congrats on the new Jeep

Definitely prefer the Manual! No regrets here.
