Anyone wish they waited for the 2012 3.6?

No almost paid off, which means time for some more mods! I'd be also closer to a hemi since I'm not trading in my 09 for a 12. IMO it's not worth paying 15k more trading in for 80hp and a new interior that prefers leather wipes that's already hemi price range.

Nope. I have an 08 and 07. Love em both. Not a big fan of the new interiors. I'm never in a rush when I'm in my jeep anyway. I have lived-in the mountains for over 4 years and never been bothered by the power. Or lack of.

Not really. Yes the 3.8 is not as good as the 3.6 Pentastar and if I hadn't bought my 2011, I would have been tickled to pick up a 2012 instead.
Having said that, my 2011 is mine - built exactly the way I like it. It's like a best friend now. And I don't want to trade my best friend in for anything. Nossiree!

the autostick feature would be nice though... I had that in both my charger and challenger. also, the new air intake looks better than the 3.8's... I may see if I can retro fit it to my 3.8

Very happy with my 08, gald I didn't trade up...like another post said, like a best friend.
Sure the 3.6 and the new auto 5 speed, and the new fancy inside (cerca 2011). I'm staying right were I am....let's see what comes in the future, and I'll have tons of enjoyment reading all about the next model and what it too will bring to the Wrangler right here on this forum

got a great deal $$..... love what I have for the price I paid....and I needed an immediate replacement.... I am pretty sure the Pentastar is a great upgrade... in 3.5 years time when I replace my Jeep I am sure there will be a similar debate....the only thing that I would have waited for would have been a diesel....
