As for your question, yeah these things install/uninstall in pretty much any vehicle without issues.
Love that avatar. Up the irons! That was all.

I know a guy that has one in his XJ, and he wheels the shit out of it with no problems. We even did one trip where we were a days drive from pavement, with lots of stops and starts, and he had no issues. Good luck.

Hey man. I lost my license in February of last year on my snowmobile. I've had the interlock in my Jeep for around 5 months. Here in Ontario, Speedy glass is the only certified installer, I'm not sure if BC is the same. I have had no issues, except for dealing with the interlock, which is a huge PITA. You're right in your opinion that it's a money grab. It costed me roughly $600 to have it installed, and $250 every two months to have it serviced. You have to watch which foods you eat if you are planning on driving shortly after eating. Same goes for certain non-alcoholic drinks. They will both provide "false positives" under the right circumstances.

To those of you who think you have the right to lecture somebody you don't know, get a fuckin' life. The bullshit he will have to go through and the stress he will endure is more than enough punishment on it's own. I'm not condoning drinking and driving, but common sense has all but left law enforcement. Policing is no longer a civil service, it's a business.

Ryan.

I'm sorry, you're so right, it's just that simple. It's cut and dried. Every case deserves the same punishment. Same for the guys mowing lawns impaired, and the guys in paddleboats impaired, and the guys in canoes impaired.... You are personally irresponsible when you post.

Like I said in an earlier post, there's a difference between being drunk and having 2 beer, I do think that drunk driving is wrong and you should be punished for it. I don't think some one that had 2 beer and gave there drunk friend a ride home at 4 in the morning should be punished the same as the guy that can't stand on two feet. I think that part is wrong. Yes I learned a very hard lesson and it royally fucked my life up and why? Because I'm a good friend making sure my buddy and his girlfriend got home safe, for all of you guys that think your perfect and have never done anything wrong, your only fooling your self and trying to prove something but you have nothing to prove, this is an open discussion now so come on let's here what you have to say about me, go on make your self feel good you crooked sob's!

Here, everyone can check me out under the influence. I lost my license shortly after making this video. I was clearly impaired. Could barely stay on my sled. Reflexes were gone, a major danger to the public. .100 on the intoxilyzer Haaahaha. Cheers guys, get off your high horses.

I think the op's question on here has been answered as best as possible from some that are in the know. He's paying for his mistake, no reason for him to keep taking a beating on this by members, he's taking a beating already with what he's got to deal with. I do believe he said he lost his job aswell. Therefore this thread is being closed.
