a buddy of mine has had them off and on since he was 16...we are now 30. the shadiest shop in the world installed his and it works fine. it's just annoying, which i think is the point...and he has to blow ever so often while driving.

everybody messes up man, even these guys in here preaching to ya. (2 beer...get it?!)

Like come on if it's being installed at a tire shop I think I should worry a little bit, why can't a dealer install it? I have no problem with all of this I do deserve it and my buddy should of got a cab or something, I have lost friends from drinking and driving too and it's one thing to have two beer and drive than it is to have 12? And it's not a DUI it's a roadside suspension? I had nothing to hide I just wasn't very impressed the way the officer treated me because of who I was with, as soon as my buddy was gone he was a totally different guy, even ended up giving me and my other friend a ride home
scotch locks, speedy auto glass here on the mainland is contracted to do installs and monitoring.

Fuck I hope they don't use scotch locks :s here they use fountain tire, one of my buddy's has one in his tracker and his ignition switch went on him way up the mountain and he had to take it all apart to hot wire his truck to get home and they were going to charge him for tampering with it, he said his was soldered in, and yes I am paying for my mistake big time, on another note, any one have any ideas for building a rear bumper? Got a lot of time on my hands right now lol

Just like we benefit from theirs. Joint training is a good experience.

But Canada is far from freeloading. The only thing about Canada I hate is Justin Beiber and Celine Dion.

And to the OP make sure you let get quotes from a few different shops before you commit. Never hurts to shop around.

And this is a bad thing?

I don't get this reasoning. The stricter law makes it less likely that some one who isn't okay to be driving doesn't kill some one who is okay to be out driving. How anyone can support the idea that driving impaired to any degree is okay, is beyond me. It's as simple as choosing a different beverage. Done.

Maybe the drinkers should stop looking at the safety steps to keep them off the road, as an friggin inconvenience to them. How inconvenient is it for a victims family to have to bury their loved one? Or a kid to live without a parent? Or parent to bury their child...

If you drink, don't drive. I have ZERO tolerance for alcohol & driving. And knowing the drunks are out on the road scares the shit out of me when I'm on the road...

What are you guys thinking? You're rationalizing that it's okay to drive just "a little drunk"?

I'm really curious as to how I would feel at .08BAC

I'd like to see what the government considers impaired. One could make the assumption that many of us have driven impaired and didn't realize we were over the legal limit.

i've wondered this too. I think that installing the interlock loss of liscense etc. on a first offense is a bit much. It can ruin a persons life without them realising it. I could understand a night in jail and impounded car and a fine. I'm on the fence about this one because on the other hand it only takes 1 time to take anothers life. for the OP's post i'm a big guy and depending on what beer i drink sometimes after 2 i can feel it and other times i dont. if i feel that im buzzed or any way impared i wont drive.

the town we are from if you right at the limit or a hair over but not being stupid swerving etc. nthe sherrif would tell you to get your ass home and stay there. if i catch this shit again your ass is mine. (note this is where its common to drink a cold bud on the way home from work)
