Check the Status of your Jeep JK Wrangler - Order Status Codes
I am not sure with the Mygig, I had not heard that to this point.
The Uconnect system is not in the JK or available in the JK. The head unit (radio) has the button but it does not and will not work. I believe that you would have to add wuite a bit to the system to make it work.
I know that happens and I think i'm really lucky
mine is a sold order as well
and whats killin' me is that "IF" i get my Jeep lets say saturday the 24th.
i'll drive it for a day and on sunday i'm out of the country which bugs me alot

NO LOVE ON THIS JEEP THOUGH. Just excuses and blank faces. He says that there is really nothing they can do. I kinda believe him.
davidwm71, I agree with you on waiting.
My situation is a bit different because I cannot find one the way I want it. The 6 speed seems to be tough.
I have to say that there will be some value to me to purchase a JK that "was epecially built for me".

This is my third New Jeep from this dealer in just over 2 years. I want to get mine before my sales guy goes away for a month.
Hopefully you can get some use of your Jeep before you have to leave.
I don't know and wt i'll say maybe wrong
but I think if a dealer sales more Jeeps (lets say)
they get more priority over others!
so any order placed from them. well get a better chance for the jeep to be sold.
also the dealer ship that i'm working with is on my way when i'm off to school!
so basically i see different jeeps all the time wishin to spot mine in between!
yet again maybe i'm wrong

I've had Jeeps for many Years and all my friends have Jeeps. It's hard to find an automatic TJ and nearly impossible to find a automatic YJ and did they even make a CJ w/ an auto? The JK seems to be opposite. You can't find a manual. Maybe Jeep is trying to prove what all the TJ owner are saying... that the JK is not a real Jeep. Of course that's what the YJers said about the TJ.
Why is it we can not get accurate times from order to delivery? I ordered my Rubicon Unlimited knowing there would be a wait. I was told 8-12 weeks. I was also told three different time frames from three different dealers. After 6 weeks I am still in bg/bx limbo. I don't see any way they will meet the 12 week dilevery time. The cs I spoke to called my dealer to find out what he knew and he said he was going to meet with his rep the first week in December to see why it had not been scheduled yet. The cs went on to try and explain that Jeep is a victom of there own success at this point and is having touble keeping up with demand. I can understand all of that, but they should be able to be honest and give us a solid estimate of delivery. If they are getting (x) amount of orders per day and they are only able to build (Y) per day they should be able to give an accurate estimate when they will be able to get to each order. I am a contractor and I can not get away with telling people I will start there job in 4 weeks and not show up and tell them maybe in another 4 weeks and so on and so on. I am also holding money in reserve to pay for this thing and there are better places to park my money if I no its not coming in for anther 3,4,5 months. Ok i'am done , just my 2 cents.
I ordered my Rubicon Unlimited Loaded on August 28th. This is a message from Crylser customer care.. My question is first and then their response..

Thank you. Unfortunately I'm behind a rock and a hard place. I really
would like to own the vehicle I ordered 3 months ago, but I have to buy
a vehicle by the end of December due to taxes and my present lease being
up. Without a rough timeline I do not know what to do. I have been told
by the dealer rep that it could be as late as a 2009 model year (Meaning
July of 08) and for sure I wouldn't see it until February at the
earliest. How does he know it will take another 3 months and I cannot
get anyone to give me more information. My dealership and my salesman
have told me they have pretty much done all they can do. All I really
want to know if I will have a Vin# before January 1st.
Thank you for all of your help and I'm sure, I'm not the only one
bugging you so once again thank you for giving me the little time I'm
sure you have.

It is always a game of mine is better than yours and I am sure that in a few years we will all be saying that the newest Wrangler is not as good as our JK. The purists always fight change and then eventually accept it and love it.
