I placed my order for a Jeep green Rubi, top, tint, trailer tow and power conv. here in Central Mo. on 9/7/07 and have been in contact with my dealer several times and they know absolutely nothing about the order. They keep telling me that some parts or supplies must not be available to finish the build. I've purchased several vehicles from them and have always ordered what I want and they always delivered when promised. Do I need to get some #'s and call Chrys.? looking for advice. Thanks

Tienz - follow this link and follow the instrucitons. You'll need your vehicle order number or VIN for CCC to find you in the system. Once you have the status code, you'll have a better idea of where your Ruby really sits in line. Then call your dealer back and tell them what you know.

There are no parts that are not available. Jeep manufacturers ALL Wranglers in 1 facility. They can not keep up with the demand. Skim over this thread and you'll see all the BS excuses people have got from Jeep.

yeah, what david said, to the word. take chicky's advice and read this thread from the beginning. look up Wayoflife and Perzuki and read their posts. you're getting BS'ed. You ordered yours the same date I ordered mine. I'm picking mine either monday or tuesday. Allocation, Allocation, Allocation. January 3rd was the beginning of a Rubicon production run. you should have been included in this run. You need to be point blank and ask them if they had an allocation when you ordered your rubi. From what I've read on this thread over the months, most jeep dealers have a don't ask, don't tell policy when it comes to allocation. they'll tell you 6 to 8 weeks initially and then BS you every week until it comes in. Right now the lead time for any 4wd is 12 to 14 weeks and there are no parts holding up production. Get your VON # (vehicle order number) from your dealer. When you call CC, give them then VON# and they'll give you a reference #. Use this number whenever you call CC from then on. good luck and welcome to the waiting room.

i'm D-1!

i've been calling every monday morning for an update. last monday i was D, today i am D-1......not sure how long i've been D-1, but i'm a happy camper.

after i called chrysler, i called my salesman to order a spare tire cover and he said my "estimated delivery date" is feb. 9th.

i was unaware that dealers get an ETA, or maybe my salesman was just humoring me.

FYI - The way in which CC 'updates their systems' for phone support seems sporadic. I have seem some people whose Jeep goes from D-1 to framing, painting, etc. For me, it went from D-1 to KZL w/no updates in between. Two days later it went to KZM. Also, it went to KZL on the estimated ship date.
