If you have a VIN or a VON off your order sheet (which you wouldn't unless your order was in "D" status), you can call 1-800-992-1997. Follow the prompts, stay on the line for an operator, and they can look it up for you.

:

when I call this 800 number, I get this message saying to call 101515800 and it will be $4.52. Is this correct?

excellenrt move. seems that truthfulness doesn't find its way into some dealerships. if you want some enjoyable reading, read this thread from the start and read what customers have been told by the dealers. unbeleivable. i must say, in fairness, that this does not apply to all dealers/salesman. one dealer out of dallas located a rubicon for one guy in georgia because his order was taking so long. called him up and offered to pay his airline ticket to go get it.

A-Ha! Dealer emailed. Had the GM do some digging. The ruby was held (one of 200) by the engineers for a quality control check. If she passes, then she ships out on 2/3.

Here's my new question for anyone out there paying attention. Anyone else's order held at the moment? Classified as a "carrier hold" for quality control inspection.

I've dealt with this dealer for three vehicle purchases and they've always been easy to deal with and honest. But...you never know.

expecting release and pending shipment, hell, who here isn't?

Once past that brain fart, I found they built my Sahara today.
Wife still wants to know why her Jeep is not here tomorrow.

Dood, there are better options. The MyGig is pretty pricey for what you get.
Have you considered a Pioneer head unit like the Pioneer AVIC-Z2 or the lesser AVIC-D3. Far more options and flexibility there. But yah, it's up to you...

Yea I actually have put quite some time into the mygig decision. I agree that going with the aftermarket unit has more features, but I plan on getting the lifetime bumper/bumper warranty so it makes it easier to just go with the mygig and have it warrantied for life.

Ok, just got off the phone with Chrysler...I'm still in BG status but the rep contacted my dealership while I was on hold, and gave them a "file" which they can use to help speed up the proccess. Has anyone ever heard of this? And does this acutually work?

I was told the same thing last week.
"Your status hasn't changed since you placed the order"
Asked what dealership I was using, who I was dealing with, then put me on hold to "call them" and let the management know that nothing had changed.

As of this week I went back to BG.

May be too soon to tell, but I don't think it'll help much.
