I'm feeling the same way......very frustrated. Everytime I check same ole status.....D, call again....D......call again...D.....call again.....D....Okay, I need to stop calling. I checked with the dealer today after making another "D" call, and they said to me, "My sales manager is going to call about your jeep and get it expedited." Okay, I'm not stupid......quit blowing smoke up my arse....I know I'm the customer, but be truthful to me, please. As you can tell, I'm patiently waiting for my Rubi to come in. :-) I do know the wait will be worth it, but it's getting hard. I'm tempted to go out in the garage and work on my 64 a little. Guess I'll go charge the battery, and see if she'll start. I guess I should just expect it in March.

TAZ hog, The 64 thing will certainly relieve some stress. That's what I'm doing with my 48 cj2a.

Quick update...

Couldn't get a lease done so with no lease, no jeep. I just can't take the $200 extra I'd have to pay on a 72 (!) month purchase.

Looks like I'm back to looking for an older TJ.

I won't be around here much until I try to get a JK again in a couple of years. Just wanted to thank everyone for all the great info and keep things going around here. I'll probably lurk from time to time to check out your great looking rigs but I doubt I'll post much.

Good luck to all you guys waiting on your rigs! It really is worth the wait!

(BTW, there's a beautiful red rock Sahara 4-door available at Hoyte Dodge in Sherman, TX if someone is interested. I only put 120 miles on it!)

Oversized gas tank??? I, too, have read nothing of this. Was this from a "knowledgable" saleman? How much did he/she charge you for it? Can you get a part number? I'd demand proof you have an oversized gas tank before I just paid up front for it.

Does 2 weeks seem like a long time for shipping to KC, MO. Some people are talking like they are getting their's a couple of days or at the most a week after it is shipped. My dealer said it would take 2 weeks. that just doesn't sound right. I've been waiting three month's and the wait is killing me. We sold my wifes car yesterday so all we have know is my 2wd beater truck and a huge ice storm rolling into town. I think we are going to be spending some good quality time at home this week.
