Hi Jeff,
When I called my dealer today he didn't mention anything about allocation restriction with mygig or the hardtop. Is your information on the web for us or just an internal message?

The information about the MyGig restrictiona nd the Hard Top on Unlimited restriction is nation wide. So if one of those items is on your order and you have not yet been moved to D status you will probably not have the opportunity to move to D until the allocation period in March (for April build dates).

 

Well I finally moved up to BX status on 2-5-07. Guess the Hardtop issue is almost worked out. At least this is what I wanna believe. Chris

 

Jeff, do you know when they will start building the 2008's? If April is the earliest build date I would rather wait for a 2008 if I could get it in August. Just asking. Thanks.

 

You should be able to order the 2008 models in late July to early August. They should arrive in early to mid September.

 

Jeff, I ordered a 2 door rubi with mygig and hardtop........So does this mean that I'll be waiting a long time for my Jeep? I just went to bk status today.

Also, not to scare anyone, but one of the Rail companies that Chrysler uses had a derailment on Feb 4th in Sadorus, IL., blocking the main track on the corridor between Decatur, Ill., and Ft. Wayne, Ind. Hopefully noones 07 Wrangler was on there!

The hard top is not an issue as of yet. The MyGig will hold you up for a month. your next chance at moving to D will be on the 1st Monday of March.
