they probably inspect to see if there is any damage already caused and if not just trim the fender liner, and if there is damage caused then possibly fix any leak...now if we can get them to recall the gas tanks because of the overflow problem then we would be somewhere....

Default Chrysler to recall about 600,000 Jeeps, minivans

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_chrysler_recall

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on its website the automaker is recalling 288,968 Jeep Wranglers from the 2006 through 2010 model years due to a potential brake fluid leak.
On the Jeeps, the front inner fender liners can rub against the brake fluid tubes and cause a leak. NHTSA says the leak could result in partial loss of brakes.

Just saw this on the news while at lunch. Hoping it is a quick and easy fix, but still want it done right.
I guess they can either trim the fender liners and/or use some zip-ties to hold it -
Too much to hope for braided stainless??

If I see any wear I'm going to request braided, worth a try. Either way it shouldn't be an expensive fix as long as there is no leaking, and lets face it, if there is leaking you prolly already know by now

I'm thinking if you have a body lift, this won't be an issue.
