Custom decals?
I asked the same thing to a place called Fast Signs.
Thankfully, I'm a graphic designer and I created my own decals, then gave them the outlined version. Quoted me $18 for one vinyl cutout decal that's completely custom.
Let me know if you need help designing something.

I have a company I found on the internet making some for me. I am getting 2 hood stickers made for $20...die cut, no background colors, and they make them specific to your size requirements. If you want the info, let me know and I will PM you. Very customer oriented. I sent them an email originally, and within an hour I had a reply. I told them exactly what I needed, and they made it for me. I should have the stickers in a week.
I actually have a machine to do this.
I am NOT and expert, and have only played around with it so far on a few jobs.
I can tell you that tiny minute details are a pain to "weed" (remove the unwanted vinyl from around the area)
The unit I have is a Cutter only, not a printer, so it can cut anything out 1 color at a time.
Currently I have some vinyl in Black, White, and Glass Etch.
I wouldnt mind trying one or two to see how it worked out.
Ideal graphics would be solid black/white - not shades but solid color.
These edges are made into vector images which are then fed to the cutter.
Some Examples:

I have a 24" cutter, so it can do basically 23" x any length. But I would like to stick to small stuff just to try it. A 6' screwup can be expensive.
Before this becomes a "me too!" attack, or I get 9000 PMs, lets just try one or 2 to start & see how it goes.
I would need the clear BW image, and dimensions. (picture a frame around your graphic, if you say 4" x 6" the image would be scaled to fit WITHIN that size.)
Since Smelt 1 started this thread, he gets to go first. - PM me smelt, we'll see how this thing works out.

A good friend of mine has a vinyl shop, ARTVAC, he did both sides of my hood, 3rd brake light and rear corner for $20 ... he put them on too.

I used a Sticka cutter-printer/software. It cuts the vinyl, then you have to remove the excess material with an exacto knife or razor. Once you are done removing the excess material, you have to put transfer tape on top of the letters. Then you transfer it on the surface....
Thats the same as this process, just 24" wide. Got the thing as a toy, made a few cool things with it so far. Lettered up a few cars at work, friends, etc. Great for making smart-ass yet official looking signs.
