Yup 9:30am Friday morning, got 2.49% financing for 72 months as well.
Pretty solid deal, $3000 off sticker and $1000 conquest rebate.

Where did you obtain your financing?

The dealer got it, I work for a bank and walked in and said that I had 2.99%...

The dealer came back and said, " I will be able to get 2.49 for 72 or 84 for 3.49"

The financialing is coming from a bank called first niagara bank which is regional to my area.

The trick to financing through the dealerships is to search every bank in the country through the Internet and find the best deal out there and then throw it at the wall for the, to see what sticks.

Another good point fro this thread is that the dealers make a margin off of the financing, they usually have some play with the rate - if they lower the rate the less of a kick back that they get but if they don't get the financing at all then they get nothing. So if you walk in and tell them that you are approved for xxx% from xxx bank they will either tell you to go get it from xxx bank or they will beat it, 9 times out of 10 they will find a way to beat it because even with a small margin it is better then a NO margin.

Check your local Credit union, bank, ....see what you can get approved for and then throw it at them - they will beat it.

The Internet is an amazing tool.

Ralph, according to your location, you should be able to go to
digital credit union
500 West Central Street
Franklin? MA? 02038

1.99% for up to 72 months on new autos with 120% ltv - looks like you can get the deal to add in so upgrades!

Wicked pricing, the Internet is an amazing thing.

I pulled up your city on my iPad map, typed in bank, clicked search, and then clicked on every bank and checked their auto loan rates.

Simple, it took 5 minutes.

I do not think any dealer will be able to touch that and I think that should not be far from you.

Hey Halas,

Thanks for taking the time to do that research. I was going to begin my search for financing tomorrow. You just provided me with a great start, and a very difficult one to beat at that. I will definitely look into that.

God, I love the Internet!

I Internet rocks, it is the shady dealer's worst enemy.

I used the same process to search inventory at jeep dealers throughout NY, PA, NC, NJ, ..... All because the jeep.com inventory search sucks!

Nice looking Jeep. The car wax really sets it off.
