This is my first jeep and being unaware of the wave (lack of briefing by salesman) wondered why everyone was waving at me. In your slow but not stupid department however, i am now 2 weeks into ownership and am waving at everybody (CJ,YJ,TJ,JK). Here in NH, just about all wave or wave back. notable exceptions almost all seem to be 20-something girls. guess i look menacing or something:)

I bet all the H3's are waving...

Mine has a soft top.....doesn't look anything like an H3:toung:

I see a lot of Wranglers on a military post in Missouri! I have gotten some very enthusiastic arm-out-the-window full arm waves and most Wranglers return the wave. I am kind of a snob, I don't wave to compasses or libertys does that me racist? Wranglerist??. :naw:

I'm gettin waves all the time in the JK. Mostly they are from other JK's. The guys in the older jeeps seem to mostly try to ignore it. JEALOUS.

I have not encountered another JK, but have been getting lots of waves from YJ/TJs....

Clackeye those waves don't count, they have to be using more than one finger!:rotflmao1:

In Toledo here which is a Jeep town I get a very high % of waves from fellow jeepers, except JK owners! Some have been down right snobs even face to face at traffic lights. I give those butt heads a special parting wave. I have not had one wave returned by a JK owner.

My daughters laugh at me when I don't get a return wave.
I just step back in the box and keep swinging.

I average about 2 waves a day. A lot of people dont wave back. I dont know whats going on.
