Default Did you finance your tires?

The more I think about it, the more inclined I am to finding some kind of financing for some 35's. I have looked up and down at these and $300+ x 5 aint cheap. Anyone out there get a good deal with a finance company and what tires did you end up with? Nittos, General, BFG are all pricey. I see some people talking about these Kelly MT's and am sort of interested in those as well. I just need to find the right match of finance co, tire, shop, application. 0% interest for so many months is always a plus but not always easy to come by. Am I looking for a deal that's too good to be true?

Discount tires. Care one card. Depending on how much you spend gives you zero percent for varied months. Over 1500 gets you 12 months if I am remembering correctly.

If u have a 401k look into getting a loan on it. Borrow from yourself and pay yourself back with low interest.

Can't beat paying yourself back on a loan.

I prefer not to touch my 401k and probably won't until retirement in 25-30 years. That's the "let's move to the lake and forget about the world" fund.

I did the Discount Tires CardONE with no interest for 12 months (I think that was the term). No interest is a pretty damn good deal. Pay it off in 1 month or 12 months - still costs you the same.

Go over that 12 months and you have a totally different story on your hands. Don't go over the 12 months

If you're able to get 0%, go for it. Otherwise, borrow from your 401k and pay that interest back to yourself, along with the original loan amount.

That's the type of deal that I'm looking for. I've done similar for a bicycle and it's a great deal. Pay it off early would be the plan. The only thing about discount tire though is who/where to get them mounted and balanced?
